United for ExcellenceSchool Administrative Unit #13 includes the School Board Districts of Madison, Tamworth and Freedom. It was initially formed in 1991 in an effort to promote excellence in our educational programs and our school districts. In the twenty plus years of existence we have worked on initiatives such as: teacher evaluation, curriculum mapping, project based learning and Understanding by Design. Together we have developed curriculum, standards and benchmarks in all of the content areas.

Brett School 323-7271 Kindergarten Registration Monday, May 7, 2012 & Tuesday, May 8, 2012 Freedom Elementary School 539-2077 Kindergarten Registration Wednesday, May 9, 2012 Madison Elementary School 367-4642 Kindergarten Registration Thursday, May 24, 2012 & Friday, May 25, 2012 Your child must be 5 years old by September 30, 2012 in order to register. Please bring your child’s birth certificate and immunization history. Cancellations & Delays Cancellations and delays will be sent to all families using the Alert Now messaging service. They will also be posted on television stations: WCSH channel 6, WMTW News channel 8 , WMUR channel 9 and WMUR.com, and WGME channel 13. In addition information will be broadcast on radio stations: WASR 1420 AM, WMWV 93.5 FM, WOKQ 97.5 FM, WZPK103.7 FM.
